NEAS thanks all the participants and sponsors transferring to the new date. Our conference will continue to focus on the theme of Transformative Journeys in Education. Speakers and schedule will be announced in the near future.

As we branch further out to the online space and prepare for a return to the ‘new normal’ face to face teaching environment we must reach out to each other for support and ideas sharing. Preparing yourself for the future is vital if you want to stay relevant and keep your stakeholders engaged.

NEAS’ Professional Development supports the ELT community through advancing best practices to all areas of ELT delivery and support.  Our PD supports all individuals working with and alongside ELT institutions to help them meet their quality goals as well as expand their PD capacity.

NEAS’ role in supporting our members

The beginning of 2020 has certainly been a tumultuous start to the year for international education and training. In the face of the Australian bushfires and COVID-19, our thoughts are with our members, their staff and students as we all negotiate the difficult economic, political, social, emotional and educational challenges these two unforeseen and unprecedented events present.

NEAS Turns 30 Years Old!

Happy New Year! Thank you to everyone for your support throughout 2019. On behalf of everyone at NEAS, we look forward to working with you throughout 2020. The year has started with several new initiatives from NEAS, some of which I would like to share with you.

NEAS Australia today announced that Chair of the Board of Directors, Ms Denise Taylor, will be stepping down from the role at the end of this year. Ms Tanya Buchanan, currently serving on the NEAS Australia Board, has been appointed to the position, effective 6 February 2020.
